Atlanta homebuilder Pulte Homes has bought 11 acres in Bonita Springs and plans to build a 118-unit town house community.
The property is on the northeast corner of Bonita Beach Road and Bonita Grande Drive, the company says in a statement. Construction of the model homes is expected to begin later this year and homes sales should start in the spring.
The company did not disclose a purchase price for the land nor the cost of the project.
Solis Grande, as the community will be called, will be made up of three-bedroom town homes ranging in size from 1,650 to 1,800 square feet. The homes will come with one- and two-car garages and private patios and backyards. The community will have gated entrances.
Prices will be in the mid-$400,000s, Pulte says in the statement.
Josh Graeve, president of PulteGroup’s Southwest Florida division, says in the statement that the community will be near beaches as well as dining and entertainment giving residents “a variety of social amenities just outside their door.”
“Solis Grande meets the market demand from buyers who want the value of homeownership and a low maintenance lifestyle,” he says.
Pulte Homes is part of the PulteGroup which operates out of 40 markets in 24 states. According to company statistics, in 2022 it owned 108,848 lots in the U.S. with 24% of those in Florida. And 25% of its $15.8 billion in revenue came from the state.
