Fort Myers-based Juniper Landscaping, one of the largest landscaping firms in the country with nearly $140 million in annual revenue and 18 Florida locations, is expanding to the Palm Beach market with a new acquisition.

The firm that Juniper purchased, according to a statement, is Yohe’s Lawn Care & Landscape, which provides maintenance, enhancement and installation services to over 140 customers and, officials say, has been "a Palm Beach Island and Coastal West Palm Beach staple for the last 19 years." Terms of the deal, Juniper's first location in the Palm Beach market, weren't disclosed.

“We are excited to partner with Brent Yohe to serve some of Florida’s most prestigious properties, increase our presence in Southeast Florida and serve additional clients in this growing market,” Juniper CEO Brandon Duke says in the release. “Brent has built an outstanding business and we are excited to bring him and his talented team on to Juniper.”

Brent Yohe adds: “I’m looking forward to continuing to serve customers in the Palm Beach market alongside Juniper. The company’s commitment to providing best-in-class landscaping services aligns well with the culture at Yohe’s.”

Duke was the Business Observer's Top Entrepreneur in 2022. He bought the company from his father in 2016, when annual revenue was at about $40 million. It has since grown to 18 branches statewide, about 1,700 employees and revenue of $138 million in 2021. The company was ranked among the 20 largest landscaping companies in the U.S. in Landscape Management magazine and, along with its financial partner Bregal Partners, is actively seeking acquisition targets in Florida and all sunbelt states.
