After hinting at it late last year, Mixon Fruit Farms has officially been listed for sale.

According to a press release, the 39-acre farm, which has been in Bradenton since 1939, includes a residence, storefront, warehouse, barn, pavilion and pastures.

The sale is being handled by Selina Bradley of Coldwell Banker Realty. The farm has been listed for $15.8 million.

In October 2022, owners Dean and Janet Mixon told the Business Observer’s sister paper the East County Observer that if they did list the farm for sale, they didn’t plan to close until 2024.

In the meantime, Mixon Farms will continue hosting events including a murder mystery luncheon, craft fair and Easter event in March.
