Sarasota-based Re/Max Alliance Group is growing to roughly 400 associates and staff after announcing a merger on Monday.

The Re/Max franchise, which has 12 offices between the Tampa Bay area and Charlotte County, has merged with Re/Max Capital Realty, Lutz.

Kendall Bonner, a Tampa attorney who founded Re/Max Capital Realty, will stay on in the Tampa satellite office along with the company’s 42 agents and employees. Bonner opened the brokerage in 2014 and built the company alongside Shadd Boucher, managing broker, according to a statement.

The merger also brings a combined 2022 production of over $2.5 billion and 5,000 transactions.

"I have always admired Kendall’s approach to her real estate business and we are honored to work with the staff and agents at RE/MAX Capital Realty to build upon an amazing real estate brokerage,” Re/Max Alliance Group Broker and Co-Owner Peter Crowley says in a press release.
