Suncoast Credit Union has announced a Central Florida expansion plan that will see it open three branches in the Orlando area this year.

According to a news release, the new banking centers will employ bilingual (English and Spanish) staff members to better serve the Tampa-based financial institution’s members. The branches will be located at 4530 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando; 12402 South Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando; and 1221 W. Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee.

“Our ultimate goal is to reach and positively affect more members, and this expansion allows just that,” Suncoast Credit Union President and CEO Kevin Johnson states in the release. “We know that this growth will allow our team to have greater impact on the financial lives of the individuals and businesses in these communities.”

With nearly 1.1 million members and total assets of $16.3 billion, Suncoast is Florida’s largest credit union. It operates 75 branches throughout the Sunshine State and employs more than 2,300 people.
