Tampa-based The Facilities Group, a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity Group and Revolent Capital Solutions, says in a Monday news release that it acquired National Healthcare Resources of Chicago, a provider of health care-environment support services, such as cleaning and maintenance.

Terms were not disclosed. The company says early 2024 will bring more such acquisitions.

The Facilities Group is a privately owned provider of facilities maintenance and janitorial services. Since being founded in 2020, The Facilities Group says it has grown to 18 service brands, operating 47 offices nationwide, and employing more than 14,000 team members across the U.S.

The Facilities Group services more than 30,000 locations in all 50 states, the company says.

Under what the company calls an expanded partnership structure, the Chicago firm will operate as TFG National Healthcare Resources, The Facilities Group says.

Revolent Capital Solutions says it is a Tampa-based private investment enterprise founded by entrepreneurs. The firm says it seeks family and founder-owned businesses looking for liquidity, "while providing ownership opportunities for management teams and an ecosystem designed to foster organic and acquisitive growth."

Greenbriar Equity Group is a Connecticut-based private equity firm with a fund of about $3.5 billion, according to its website. The firm says it invests in specialty markets, "focused on growing market leading companies.
