Tampa penthouse on sale for $6 million

There's a new penthouse available at the Tampa Edition selling for almost $6 million. The "junior penthouse," being sold by The Paul DeSantis Group of Premier Sotheby's International Realty's South Tampa office, is the one below the penthouse of Jeff Vinik, owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning and a minority owner of the Boston Red Sox.

And if the views of the Amalie Arena and the waters are not enough for you, the newness of it all might be: The junior penthouse has never been occupied.

The unit is located at 1000 Water St., Unit 2501, Tampa. The Paul DeSantis Group says the junior penthouse is the second most expensive residential unit on the Tampa Bay market. (Technically, the sales price for the junior penthouse is $5,999,900.)
