A Sarasota architecture firm has expanded north, with a new office in St. Petersburg.

Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors officially opened the doors Friday, July 21. The firm has worked on several projects in the area before, including for Eckerd College, a St. Petersburg Sanitation complex currently under construction and a new Largo Fire Station.

“This endeavor, opening an office here in the heart of St. Pete, is really to cement our dedication to the community, as well as being able to better serve it,” Todd Sweet, a founding partner for Sweet Sparkman, says in a release. “We’re so excited to join such a great city and be a part of it on a more intimate, local level. The future of this community is bright, and we hope to contribute to it in a larger way.”

The firm focuses on multi-disciplinary architecture, planning and interiors while specializing in community projects and high-end residential. The new office is located on Central Avenue. The firm is based in an office off of Main Street in Sarasota.
