The Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach held its official topping-off ceremony April 21.

The milestone celebration, according to a statement, included the project team from the general contractor, DeAngelis Diamond, in addition to subcontractors and developers.

The four-story beach-side resort, on 7 acres at the entrance of Fort Myers Beach, will feature 254 rooms and a 45,000-square-foot elevated terrace showcasing a bar and dining seating with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. It also will include a beach club, coffee shop, an elevated pedestrian bridge spanning Estero Boulevard and more.

After facing setbacks due to Hurricane Ian, the project is on track to be complete by the end of 2023, officials say.

DeAngelis Diamond, specializing in commercial, multifamily and health care construction, has more than 27 years of general contracting experience across the United States and in the Caribbean Islands.
