SWFL engineering firm expands to Florida’s east coast

J.R. Evans, a civil engineering firm with a niche in floodplain and stormwater-related engineering, is opening its third office in Florida, in West Palm Beach. 

The new office, according to a statement, was acquired from another engineering firm and will focus on coastal engineering and continuing work related to FEMA regulations. The office joins others in Sarasota and its Estero headquarters. 

J.R. Evans Engineering has been at the forefront of Florida's resiliency efforts since Hurricane Ian and the devastating storm surge that followed, say company officials. The company, according to the statement, has also “executed some of the most renowned stormwater design, floodplain management, and land development projects across the United States.”
