After being reelected for a third term as a Florida state Representative without opposition, Spencer Roach has joined a Southwest Florida law firm.

Roach, a Republican, recently joined the Law Office of Jeffrey M. Janeiro, which is based in Naples, according to a statement. Roach represents the 79th district, which includes part of Lee County.

A retired judge advocate, Roach comes to the firm with 20 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was in charge of the boat and crew as the search and rescue coxswain as well as a counter-narcotics officer during his service. He has a license to practice law in Florida and Texas.

“We warmly welcome Spencer Roach to the firm and know he will be an incredible asset to our team,” Jeffrey Janeiro, a managing member of the firm, says in a news release. “We greatly look forward to working with him.”
