A prominent law firm in Sarasota signed on the dotted line for a new office location in Lakewood Ranch.
Williams Parker will be a new addition to master-planned community and mixed-use development Waterside Place.
“Our firm is proud to serve a broad range of clients from across Southwest Florida, delivering quality legal counsel with our signature focus on excellence, efficiency, and collaboration,” Michael Wilson, president, says in a release. “As our client needs have grown, it has become clear to us that our current office solutions needed to expand in kind.”
The new office address is 7500 Island Cove Terrace, but the move isn’t expected until next spring. It will be followed by the firm’s move to its new downtown office at The Plaza at Five Points. That move will entail the firm occupying the entire eight floor of the downtown building at 50 Central Ave. The firm has been in its current downtown location at 200 S. Orange Ave. since about 1976. https://www.businessobserverfl.com/article/prominent-sarasota-law-firm-finds-new-downtown-hq-leaving-offices-its-been-at-for-nearly-45-years
“The opening of our Waterside Place office — in tandem with the pending move of our downtown office to The Plaza at Five Points in late spring 2023 — will enable us to meet clients where they are with two locations,” Wilson adds, “while also preserving the collegiality that is a hallmark of our firm.”
Williams Parker is comprised of roughly 50 attorneys. The firm serves clients globally through its membership in Ally Law, an international alliance of law firms with a membership of nearly 75 firms that include 3,000 lawyers in 100 business centers worldwide.
