Just weeks after private aviation AeroVanti Club had a major funding announcement, it’s happened again — though this time on a much larger scale.
Lafayette Aircraft Leasing led a $100 million investment to AeroVanti to support a fleet expansion, which will allow the company to keep up with customer demand, according to a statement. The first plane of the expansion has already arrived in Sarasota at the company’s headquarters.
The announcement comes a few weeks after the company announced a $9.75 Series A funding round. Since it launched over a year ago, AeroVanti reports it has experienced 400% growth. In March, the club acquired Arizona-based Marjet Aviation, which expanded its fleet and roster of pilots and personnel, as well as increased its capabilities in terms of operations and logistics.
“Our mission at AeroVanti is simple: To transform private aviation and modern travel as we know it so that our members can enjoy both luxury and value, never having to sacrifice one at the expense of the other,” AeroVanti Founder and CEO Patrick Britton-Harr says in the release. “We offer our members both convenience and exclusivity, and this investment will fuel our relentless pursuit of this goal.”
The club, dual-headquartered in both Sarasota and Annapolis, Maryland, is built on a tiered membership model and competitive hourly pricing. Membership is offered through individual-, family- and corporate-level tiers. The membership pricing does not include the price of each flight, which varies depending on the destination.
Britton-Harr was recently named a Business Observer 40 Under 40 winner.
