“Hitting $1 billion in awarded projects speaks volumes to our partnerships, both internally and externally,” Power Design CEO Frank Musolino states in the release. “Our team’s capabilities and experiences have us performing better than ever before and our partners see that and trust us because we always deliver. Those partnerships are not only key to our continued growth, but also our motivation to continue to raise the bar in our industry.”

Power Design, the release states, has grown to 2,500 employees in 23 states since it was founded in 1989 by Mitch and Dana Permuy. In addition to its 40-acre headquarters in Northeast St. Pete, it also owns and operates a 208,000-square-foot prefabrication and distribution facility in Palmetto.

“When Dana and I started the company, we weren’t thinking about a billion dollars as a goal. Now here we are with a billion-dollar accomplishment,” Mitch Permuy states in the release. “Reaching this milestone is a direct result of surrounding ourselves with the right people — from our field teams to our staff at headquarters, success like this is a result of the hard work, dedication and efforts of our folks. Dana, the family and I are really proud of them.”
