Tampa Bay rooftop bars to donate 50% of sales to hurricane relief efforts

On Thursday, four hotels will hold "Raising the Roof" fundraiser events.

On Thursday, four Tampa Bay hotels plan to donate 50% of all sales from their rooftop bars to Hurricane Ian relief efforts, specifically the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.

According to a news release, the fundraising events, dubbed “Raising the Roof for Hurricane Ian Relief,” will take place at the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, the Karol Hotel in Clearwater, the Residence Inn Tampa Wesley Chapel and the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin. The hotels will offer complimentary valet parking.

The Fenway Hotel’s Hi-Fi rooftop bar, Karol Hotel’s Vantage rooftop bar and the Residence Inn’s Skybox rooftop bar will be open from 4-10 p.m. Thursday, while the Epicurean Hotel’s EDGE rooftop bar will welcome guests from 5 p.m. to midnight.
