No need to get out of the car for this news. A new drive-thru coffee chain is expanding into Sarasota.

Ellianos Coffee recently signed a two-store development agreement with new franchisees, according to a news release. The release didn't include an address, but noted the expansion to Sarasota. The coffee shop was founded in 2002 under a mission of providing ‘Italian Quality at America’s Pace.’ There are currently 22 Ellianos Coffee locations operating throughout Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

“We could not be more excited to bring the amazing ‘Italian Quality at America’s Pace’ concept that has been so well received to Sarasota,” Chad Stewart, VP of franchise development, says in the release. “We have a strong, loyal customer base, and we know we’ll be a great fit for the Sarasota community.”

The brand has been expanding within central and south Florida with new locations soon to open in Tampa, Leesburg, Eustis and Orlando. The Lake City-based company has over 60 locations planned currently.

Recently, Ellianos Coffee secured $25 million in funding through a partnership with First Federal Bank in Lake City. The funding is designated for franchisees to help streamline the lending process.
