Less than a month after announcing plans to open new locations in Pasco County, Woodie’s Wash Shack, a fast-growing car wash chain, has acquired three NASCAR Car Wash facilities in Pinellas County, growing its footprint there from two to five locations.
The car washes — located at 8680 Park Blvd. N. in Seminole, 7601 Ulmerton Road in Largo and 7141 Fourth St. N. in St. Petersburg — will be upgraded and rebranded to fit the Woodie’s Wash Shack concept, according to a news release. The cost of the acquisitions was not disclosed.
“The NASCAR acquisition fits right in line with our ‘corridors of dominance’ strategy of having a Woodie’s Wash Shack where you work, play and live,” Woodie’s Wash Shack partner and Vice President Glen Stygar states in the release. “We’ve gone from two locations in Pinellas to five, which puts us at the top of the list for presence/exposure in St. Pete.”
Woodie’s Wash Shack, the release states, is also developing additional Pinellas County car washes at 1590 U.S. 19 N. and 33286 U.S. 19 N.
“We’re very excited to nearly triple our presence in Pinellas,” Stygar adds, via the release. “With our first ever wash being on 66th Street in Pinellas Park, we’ve accumulated a meaningful family in St. Pete and are proud to bring those Woodie’s members three additional convenient locations for them to get their cars washed.”
