The firm’s fourth office opened in Sarasota right off of Main Street in the Center Pointe Office Building. Salvatore Scro will lead the office in the role of special counsel. The Lakewood Ranch-based attorney joins partners Phillip Joseph, James Prichard, Evan Small, Kelly Corcoran and Brian Crevasse.

“Expanding to western Florida is a natural move for our firm as we grow in the Florida market. The new office allows us to strengthen our client relationships and services,” says Jim Prichard, managing partner, in a press release. “Having someone as experienced as Sal Scro leading our Sarasota office will ensure it provides the highest quality of service to clients — matching Ball Janik’s nationally recognized brand.”

Scro’s experience in the industry spans 33 years across litigation, real estate and business matters in both New York and Florida.

“Establishing the firm’s first western Florida office is an exciting endeavor,” Scro says in the release. “I have no doubt this office will provide the best service to every client we represent and expand Ball Janik’s footprint in the coming years.”
