Blue.cloud, a Tampa tech startup that specializes in cloud solutions, has hired its first COO, Koray Ozcubukcu, amid rapid growth that has seen revenues rise at a rate of 185% from 2020 to 2021.

According to a news release, Ozcubukcu comes to Blue.cloud from Slalom, where he served as managing director and worked with several Fortune 500 clients. He brings more than three decades of senior-level consulting and technology experience to his newly created role.

“With exceptional operational leadership and proven expertise in the technology space, we are thrilled to welcome Koray aboard as we continue to improve our business trajectory,” Blue.cloud co-founder and co-CEO Kerem Koca states in the release. “We are confident that Koray’s unique insight into both startup and large enterprise needs will help Blue.cloud scale to meet the global demand for digital transformation services during this next phase of growth.”

In addition to Ozcubukcu’s hiring, the release states, Blue.cloud also recently garnered a significant private equity investment from Hudson Hill Capital.

“The IT industry requires a dynamic combination of people skills, creativity and applied science to help clients operate and compete in the marketplace and Blue.cloud is truly the trifecta,” Ozcubukcu states in the release. “Blue.cloud’s implementation capabilities make it well positioned to deliver transformative cloud solutions that impact growth and differentiated customer experience for its clients. I am excited to partner with Kerem and the team as we move the business forward.”
