Tampa Mayor Jane Castor’s term as the “voice” of Tampa International Airport is about to go on hiatus. The airport created a charitable raffle that will award one lucky entrant the chance to record the greeting message that plays in the airport's monorail shuttles for one month, scheduled for July.

According to a news release, a $5 donation will get you one entry in the contest, which opened May 2 and closes May 31. So the more you donate, the better your odds. All donations will go to United Way Suncoast.

TIA, the release states, held the inaugural Voice of Tampa International Airport contest last year, and the event raised $16,000 for charity.

A winner will be drawn at random and announced at 2 p.m. May 31 on TIA’s social media channels. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
