Tourism agency expands leadership team with two executive hires

Eric Davis and Aislinn Stone join Visit Tampa Bay as vice president of finance and director of partner development, respectively.

TAMPA — Visit Tampa Bay, the destination marketing organization for Tampa and Hillsborough County, has welcomed Eric Davis and Aislinn Stone to its executive leadership team.

Davis, according to a news release, has been named vice president of finance, while Stone will serve as director of partner development.

Davis, a certified public accountant, comes to Visit Tampa Bay from the City of Tampa Housing Authority. Prior to that, he was part of the Florida Auditor General’s office, where he worked as an auditor and supervisor.

“As our destination emerges as a global destination, Visit Tampa Bay continues to grow by adding strategic and essential roles to meet the needs of our organization,” Visit Tampa Bay President and CEO Santiago Corrada states in the release. “As a mission-driven organization, we are excited to bring on Eric to further our impact in creating vibrant economic developments for our community by collaboratively increasing visitation to Tampa Bay.”

Stone, the release states, has more than a decade of experience in corporate giving and project management roles. She most recently served as the Hillsborough County Commission cultural affairs officer.

“With Aislinn’s extensive corporate giving and economic development experience, she is the perfect addition to our team,” Corrada states in the release. “Through her leadership, we will continue to strengthen our partner relationships and cultivate new ones, ultimately creating even more economic and cultural growth for Tampa Bay.”
