With Omeza, Hayes manages the organization’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effective systems that meet the startup’s needs as it moves into the early stage of development. She also has a hand in the manufacturing and purchasing departments to ensure goals set by leadership are being met.

“Of the myriad assets she brings to Omeza, one stands out for me: Lalania’s persistence in solving thorny problems,” says Founder and CEO Tom Gardner in a release. “She consistently brings to the fore creative solutions, whether in capital equipment, process engineering or product formulations, and she is also a disciplined owner of the operations budget."

Currently, Hayes is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management at State College of Florida.

Omeza is a skin health and tissue regeneration company dedicated to equitable access to better wound care outcomes for all patients at all sites of care, reducing the rate of non-traumatic lower extremity amputations, hospitalizations due to skin infections and recurrence of chronic leg and foot wounds.
