Primo Water Corp. (NYSE: PRMW), a Tampa-based provider of drinking water solutions throughout North America and Europe, has ceased all operations in Russia.

According to a news release, Primo’s presence in Russia was modest, generating $14 million in gross revenue in 2021, which represents less than 1% of the firm’s $2.1 billion in sales last year.

Companies around the world, even multinational giants like McDonald’s Corp., have pulled out of Russia in response to that country’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine. The Business Observer reached out to Primo to find out if the war was a factor in its decision, but calls and emails went unreturned.

Primo Water Corp. has reported $2.07 billion in gross revenue thus far in 2022, up from $1.95 billion in 2021 — an increase of 6%.
