McKibbon Hospitality, a Tampa-based hotel management firm whose portfolio includes properties in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and six other states, has promoted Kiel Lombardo to the newly created role of vice president of food and beverage.
According to a press release, Lombardo has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector. Prior to his promotion, he served as McKibbon’s director of food and beverage. Prior to joining McKibbon, he was the executive chef at Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers, where he oversaw multiple food and beverage outlets, including Dean Street Coffee Roastery, Ella Mae's Diner and Beacon Rooftop Drinkery.
“Kiel is a talented and experienced chef and hospitality leader who is poised to take our in-house food and beverage team to new heights,” McKibbon Hospitality President Randy Hassen states in the release. “We congratulate Kiel on this well-deserved promotion and look forward to the growth of our food and beverage presence under his direction.”
Lombardo is also the founder of RL Hospitality Consulting, a restaurant design and branding company. He founded and co-owned Platt Street Borough, a South Tampa restaurant, and served as director of chefs at Roy’s Restaurant, also in Tampa.
