Crate and Barrel is coming to Bradenton.
Before you get too excited, the home furnishing and decor retailer isn’t opening a Manatee County store. What it’s done is rent about 30,000 square feet of warehouse space at the 301 Corporate Center on 24th Street East in Bradenton.
The new warehouse location will team up with a Riverview warehouse, at 7936 Eagle Palm Dr., to cover the entire state.
Chris Malkin, managing director of SVN Commercial Partners, says Crate and Barrel’s Riverview warehouse will “support its home delivery and last mile operations to the north and this location will serve the southern demand.”
Malkin represented the retailer in the five-year, $1.455 million deal.
The 301 Corporate Center is a two building, 208,000-square-foot center sitting on 16 acres off of U.S. Highway 301.
In addition to its Riverview and Bradenton warehouses, Crate and Barrel has five stores in Florida, including one at The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota and one at International Plaza in Tampa. The retailer has a third warehouse in the state, in Miami.
