SARASOTA — Sarasota-based skin science startup Omeza added 25 years of experience to the team with a new CFO.
Christopher Dybowski was announced as the person who will fill the role of driving the company’s financial planning with the goal of meeting strategic operational and organizational objectives. Dybowski comes prepared with financial leadership experience in manufacturing, international trading, construction and distribution companies.
In his new position, Dybowski will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, finance, and information technology.
"We are delighted to welcome Chris Dybowski to the Omeza leadership team,” says Founder and CEO Tom Gardner in a statement. “Omeza has been operating with a fractional CFO during the venture stage of its development, but now that we are entering our growth equity stage, we need a full-time CFO.”
With Dybowski’s more than 25 years of experience in professional finance, Gardner says his contributions to the company’s growth and profitability will be substantial and frequent.
Most recently, Dybowski was the CFO of Concept Group LLC, located in Palm Beach. Throughout his career, he has implemented inventory and procurement systems, completed turnarounds and acquisitions, and has a track record for growing revenues and initiating cost improvements, according to the press release.
Omeza is a skin health and tissue regeneration company dedicated to equitable access to better wound care outcomes for all patients at all sites of care, reducing the rate of non-traumatic lower extremity amputations, hospitalizations due to skin infections and recurrence of chronic leg and foot wounds.
