ST. PETERSBURG — Marxent, a provider of 3D e-commerce and 3D omnichannel experiences for furniture and home improvement retailers, has rebranded as 3D Cloud by Marxent.

The St. Petersburg firm, whose clients include Macy’s, Lowe’s Home Improvement and American Furniture Warehouse, has also launched a series of new 3D applications and application bundles, according to a news release.

The moves follow a banner year of growth for 3D Cloud by Marxent, in which it closed a $15 million Series C round of investment. Tampa-area tech entrepreneur Arnie Bellini of Bellini Capital led the funding round and has joined the firm’s board of directors.

"Enterprise buyers in furniture and home improvement understand that 3D is a platform decision, not a one-time investment in an application," 3D Cloud by Marxent CEO and co-Founder Beck Besecker states in the release. "3D Cloud is already delivering a clear return on investment for major retailers by enabling high-value sales of large, configurable products online and on mobile devices. The platform also ensures that our clients are ready for emerging retail models — including retail in the metaverse. The time is right to elevate 3D Cloud.”

Also last year, 3D Cloud by Marxent made significant headway on securing a patent for its Design From Photo technology. Its latest products are 3D Sectional Configurator, Room Visualizer and Closet and Storage Planner.
