Law firm appoints new senior counsel

SARASOTA — Williams Parker, a Sarasota-based law firm, has added a senior counsel, William “Dirk” Pastorick, to the litigation section of the firm.

Pastorick has 25 years of complex litigation experience with various subspecialties representing clients in the U.S. and London, according to a statement. Previous law firms he worked for include Stutman Law in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, north of Philadelphia, and Wright & O’Donnell, also in a Philadelphia suburb. He advised clients in complex coverage disputes and the defense of third-party claims involving specialty and significant exposure liability matters while at those firms.

Pastorick’s bar admissions include Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. As an accomplished first chair trial lawyer, Pastorick will be focusing his practice on business litigation, real estate litigation and other varied matters, the release states. He has considerable experience litigating matters involving professional, employment, premises, fraternity/sorority, liquor and product liability, as well as construction defect, environmental and bad faith claims under primary, excess, specialty and other coverages, the release states.

Founded in 1925, Williams Parker comprises about 50 attorneys and offers one of Florida’s largest trusts and estates practices, as well as accomplished real estate, tax, employment, corporate, health care and litigation practices.
