CLEARWATER BEACH — St. Petersburg-based 3 Daughters Brewing, one of the largest independent breweries in Florida, will open a new rooftop tasting room in Clearwater Beach at the end of February.
The venue, according to a news release, will be located on the third floor of 381 Mandalay Ave., above Hooters. It will boast sweeping views of Pier 60 and Clearwater Harbor.
Mike Harting, owner of 3 Daughters Brewing, says the brewery experienced record-breaking 33% revenue growth in 2021, allowing it to execute its Clearwater Beach expansion, which had been planned more than two years ago.
“We’re excited to announce the opening of our Clearwater Beach tasting room, which has been in the works since before COVID,” Harting states in the release. “While the past two years involved much uncertainty, we’re looking forward to bringing our 3 Daughters family to Clearwater Beach just in time for spring break.”
The new tasting room, the release states, will feature an on-site brewing system that will be used to make 3 Daughters Brewing craft beers, hard ciders and hard seltzers available only at the Clearwater Beach location. The new venue will also host weekly events and live music as well as an exclusive Beach Bites menu available seven days a week.
The brewery is looking to hire bartenders and wait staff for the new location. Applications can be submitted via the 3 Daughters Brewing website.
