CEO group names new chair amid 2022 board slate

The new chair brings 20 years of experience to the role.

SARASOTA — The Gulf Coast CEO Forum recently announced a new chair of the board.

Chad Campbell, the president of the Florida region at Sunwest Bank, takes the seat with 20 years of experience in commercial and middle-market banking. Sunwest Bank recently opened an office in Sarasota, the entrepreneurial business bank's first location in Florida.  

The forum also named Doug Walters the new treasurer of the board. Walters is a managing shareholder at Walters and Associates, an accounting firm with offices in Bradenton, Sarasota and St. Petersburg. He brings over 27 years of experience to the board as a public accountant in the state.
