An announcement of three new adult housing communities is expected to bring nearly 600 apartment units to the Tampa Bay area all the way down to South Naples.
FK Architecture is the brains behind the new projects' designs, which include Solea Wellen Park in Venice, Amberlin Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel and Amberlin South Naples in Collier County. The 55-plus communities are designed to be “resort-style” with modern home designs and amenities.
“We’re extremely proud of our designs for these three developments,” Kimberly Hellekson, managing principal, says in a news release. “There is a strong interest in active adult housing, especially in Florida, and we are proud to design modern housing with a variety of amenities, community clubhouses and gardens.”
The 204-unit apartment complex in Venice is located on West Villages Parkway. Residents will have access to a clubhouse, pool with cabanas, courtyard, fitness center and dog park.
The Wesley Chapel complex is designed around a central courtyard and features 204 one- and two-bedroom apartments, complete with balconies and ground-floor unit private yards. It’s located just east of Interstate 75.
Amberlin South Naples has 12 direct-entry single bay garages tucked into the ground floor of the 188-unit building. It’s situated on the corner of Collier Boulevard and Rattlesnake Hammock Road.
The developer of the project, Sparrow Partners, an Austin-based real estate developer, also provided carport parking and single bay garages for rent. FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, is based in Winter Park, but holds licenses in 30 states.
