The Naples Grande Beach Resort has sold for $248 million.

The property, according to Collier County records, was sold in three pieces, with the resort bringing $218.4 million, the golf course bringing $24.8 million and the tennis center bringing $4.8 million.

The deal for the resort is one of the largest in the area but trails last year’s sale of the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, which sold for $362.3 million.

Naples Grande sits on 23 acres and includes the 18-hole golf course and 15 tennis courts. According to a fact sheet on the resort’s website, it has 474 rooms, 29 suites and 50 villas, along with seven restaurants and three pools.

A weekend stay beginning April 8 will cost you a minimum of $722 per night.

The resort was bought by two LLCs — HP-SSP Naples Hotel and HP-SSP Naples Golf — sharing an address in Radnor, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. The address matches that of the Aztec Group, an international private equity and investment firm.

According to one published report, though, members of the resort’s Premier Club received a letter stating that the new owner was Henderson Park Capital Partners, a London-based private equity real estate manager with a $13 billion portfolio.

The tie between the two companies is unclear.

A spokesperson for the resort did not respond to an email late Tuesday, April 5.
