TAMPA — Lennar Homes is will put more than 1,000 new homes on the market in the Tampa Bay region by the end of the year.
The homes will be in 70 developments and prices will range from the mid-$200,000 to the mid-$300,000 range, according to a press release from the Miami-based home builder.
Lennar did not say how many homes would be available in each development, but says the bulk will be in these five communities:
- Connerton: A masterplan community in Land O’ Lakes located near US 41 and SR 54. Lennar homes in the development start in the mid-$200,000s.
- Belmont: Located in southern Hillsborough County just south of Tampa, near to I-75, I-4 and the Selmon Expressway. Lennar homes in the development start in the high-$200,000s.
- Cypress Creek: A masterplan community in Hillsborough near Interstate 75. Lennar homes in the development start in the mid-$200,000s.
- Bryant Square: Located in New Port Richey on the corner of Little Road and SR 54. Lennar homes in the development start in the mid-$300,000s.
- Epperson: Located in Wesley Chapel. Lennar homes in the development start in the mid-$300,000s.
Steve Smith, Lennar’s division president for Tampa, says in the press release that about 15,000 home per year are built in the region.
