TAMPA — The latest restaurant to open its doors at Tampa’s expansive Midtown mixed-use development is Oronzo, a fast-casual Italian brand established by local restaurateur Dan Bavaro and Front Burner Brands, the Tampa-based management company for Melting Pot Restaurants Inc.

According to a news release, Oronzo is set to open Nov. 2 at 1120 Gramercy Lane, Suite D-200. It will feature more than 1,900 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining space, tableside device charging stations and high-speed Wi-Fi.

“Midtown is the ideal place for Oronzo’s second location,” Bavaro states in the release. “We can’t wait to introduce Midtown guests to our delicious family recipes with unique twists and flavor combinations, all made fresh and served fast.”

Oronzo’s menu, the release states, boasts unique items such as Italian-style burritos stuffed with spaghetti and chicken or meatball parmesan, Roman-style flatbreads and fresh salads and bowls. Bavaro, a 2018 Business Observer 40 Under 40 honoree, is also the founder of Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria, which has locations in Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Tampa.

Front Burner, the release states, operates 96 Melting Pot restaurants in 31 U.S. states and Canada.
