Video production firm expands through acquisition

NAPLES — The Naples Studio, a video production firm for a variety of industries, has acquired recording business Voxnow Studios.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The acquisition, according to a statement, will expand The Naples Studio’s nationally recognized video production and post-production capabilities.

Voxnow Studios was run by on-air personality David Elliot, the release states. Elliot’s work behind-the-scenes and on-air in TV and radio includes marketing consultant; professional stage director; videographer; writer/producer/director for TV and radio commercials; cable ad sales; and morning host of “Daybreak Southwest Florida” on WINK/WNOG AM; and “The Dave Elliott Show” on WGUF FM, 98.9.

The Naples Studio owner Drew Townsend, who joined the company in 1997 as an intern and became president in 2011, says in the statement that the combined businesses “provide comprehensive digital solutions for an ever-changing digital world.” The list includes writing and production for commercials, documentaries, training videos and promotional products; commercial voiceovers; TV and radio image work; radio shows; books on tape; on-hold recordings; on location and in-studio video shooting; and fully-equipped studios.

The Naples Studio provides video production services nationwide for diverse industries, including real estate, nonprofits, small and large corporations, events, inspirational videos, commercials, and more. Since opening in 1991, The Naples Studio shas earned more than 25 national awards for excellence in production, writing and editing.
