Airport announces new nonstop flights to Germany

Eurowings Discover will debut the flights from Fort Myers in less than a year.

FORT MYERS — The Lufthansa Group, through its Eurowings Discover airline, has announced it will debut weekly nonstop flights to Germany in 2022 from Southwest Florida International Airport.

The flights, from RSW in Fort Myers to Frankfurt, under the call letters, FRA, will begin in March 2022, according to a statement from the Lee County Port Authority. There will be three flights a week.
