Restaurant giant adds another location for new fast-casual concept

The first two Aussie Grill locations opened in January 2019.

BRANDON — The latest Aussie Grill in the region, in Brandon, is looking to hire at least 30 people for its grand opening.

The fast-casual dining restaurant,  Part of Tampa-based Bloomin’ Brands’ portfolio, is at 1426 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, according to a statement. Open positions include cashiers, drive-thru associates, line cooks and prep cooks., the statement adds. Candidates can apply in-person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or apply online at bit.ly/AussieGrillJobs_Brandon.

Aussie Grill’s menu of burgers, sandwiches and salads is inspired by sister brand Outback Steakhouse. The first two Aussie Grill locations opened in January 2019 in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. The brand was originally developed primarily for international growth and has since caught on domestically. 

Based in Tampa, Bloomin’ Brands (NASDAQ: BLMN) is the parent company of Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. The company reported $3.17 billion in gross revenue in 2020.
