SARASOTA — A nearly 70,000-square-foot industrial building in Sarasota has sold for $4 million.
Schanz Land & Investment Co. purchased the warehouse-style building at 6620 19th St. E.
Ben Bakker of MSC Commercial, the commercial division of real estate broker Michael Saunders & Co., represented Central Park of Commerce LLC in the sale, according to a press release. Jag Grewal of Ian Black Real Estate represented the buyer.
The Central Park of Commerce industrial park has convenient access to U.S. 41, U.S. 301 and University Parkway, the release states. The release adds MSC Commercial leveraged its collaborative professional relationships with the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee and other area brokers to market and sell the property.
“This is the perfect example of how industrial spaces are leading the charge in today’s active commercial market,” says Bakker in a statement. “This was a blended purchase by an owner-user who has taken advantage of a healthy cap rate return of long-standing tenants and filling up the rest of the building. A rare opportunity that served the need of the buyer while being a wise financial investment.”
MSC Commercial specializes in the sale, lease, representation and property management of commercial properties. The division of Michael Saunders & Co. covers all of Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties and beyond.
