SARASOTA — Independent pet retail company DOGPerfect, with stores in Lakewood Ranch, University Park and the Landings of Sarasota, has added a retail marketing manager to its team.

Kara Tolland will be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns that build customer relationships and impact company growth, according to a press release.

Before joining DOGPerfect, Tolland served as marketing manager at Boohoff Law, overseeing all marketing campaigns, including search engine optimization, social media, events and strategic partnerships. Prior to that, she was a social media manager for Welldyne Eagle Pharmacy, creating campaigns, monitoring trends and designing editorial content strategy.

“We are thrilled to have Kara join our team,” says DOGPerfect Director of Operations Fernando Carrera in the statement. “Kara brings a wealth of marketing experience and, more importantly, she understands the special life-long relationship between pets and their families.”

DOGPerfect offers a range of services, including professional grooming, self-serve dog wash, dog training and a DOGPerfect Arena.
