DUNEDIN —Free coffee.
Finer words have rarely been written. But that’s exactly what was available at the new at Kahwa Coffee Roasting Company’ new cafe in Dunedin Tuesday, June 8.
The St. Petersburg coffee roaster offered the promotion as a way to celebrate the opening of its new location.
The new cafe is at 1520 County Road 1, just north of Main Street in a building that previously housed a dry-cleaning shop.
The cafe, according to Kahwa’s website, is its 16th retail location. The roaster also has 800 wholesale customers.
Kahwa was founded in 2006 by Raphael and Sarah Perrier.
Its coffee is served in 26 Publix grocery store cafes statewide, as well as high-profile locations including Tampa International Airport, Tampa Convention Center, Epcot Center in Orlando, the Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach and Armature Works in Tampa.
“When you are building a brand, you need to keep in mind that not everyone is going to like the same cup of coffee,” Sarah Perrier told the Business Observer last year. “But we’ve tried to create something that’s easily accessible.”
