Premier Sotheby’s International Realty has appointed Kristine Newell to be a senior vice president, where she will oversee the brokerage firm’s Tampa Bay operations as well as those in Central Florida and North Carolina.
Newell also will work closely with Premier Sotheby’s President and CEO Budge Huskey to formulate and execute strategy for the Naples-based company.
She joins Premier Sotheby’s from William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, where she led several offices in Massachusetts and Connecticut. In all, she has 13 years of experience selling real estate.
“Kristine is a most important addition to our leadership team and a sign of our continued growth and success,” Huskey says, in a statement. “She brings a deep understanding of the power of our brand and a wealth of experience in luxury real estate to this critical new role. Her track record of building successful sales offices and her results-driven mindset will ensure our vision as the leader in luxury real estate.”
Premier Sotheby’s operates more than 40 offices throughout Florida and North Carolina powered by over 1,400 agents and support staff. The firm is a division of The Lutgert Cos., a major Southwest Florida real estate developer and insurer.
Newell says she hopes to use her experience to further elevate Premier Sotheby’s in this region and beyond.
“Helping top sales professionals elevate their business has been a passion of mine throughout my career,” Newell says in a statement. “I look forward to working closely with Budge and the entire team to take the company even further.”
