TAMPA — Lazydays (NASDAQ: LAZY), one of the nation’s largest RV retailers, exceeded $1 billion in annual revenue this year and, to mark the milestone, held a celebration for employees of the Tampa-based firm, which was founded in 1976 and now has locations across the United States.
The firm’s “Thanks a Billion” celebration, held Dec. 9, featured a luncheon, employee gifts and a video message from Lazydays Chairman and CEO Bill Murnane.
"Over 40 years ago, Lazydays was built on the shared purpose of creating 'Customers for Life,'" Murnane states in the release. "The past several years have brought rapid sales and earnings growth for Lazydays as we have expanded our footprint from four locations to 16. We want to thank and congratulate our customers, OEM partners, suppliers, shareholders and especially our Lazydays teammates for their support in achieving this exciting milestone."
Lazydays expanded aggressively in 2021, acquiring dealerships in Fort Pierce and Reno, Nev.
The company also has dealerships in The Villages; Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona; Minneapolis; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Loveland and Denver. Lazydays also has a dedicated service center location near Houston.
From 2019 to 2020, Lazydays’ gross revenue rose from $644.91 million to $817.11 million — an increase of nearly 27%.
