Builder launches neighborhood in fast-growing community

PARRISH — KB Home has announced a new neighborhood, Brightwood, in North River Ranch, a master-planned community in north Manatee County.

Homes at Brightwood at North River Ranch will include spacious kitchens overlooking large great rooms, expansive bedroom suites with walk-in closets and large lofts, according to a statement. The community’s one- and two-story floor plans feature up to five bedrooms and three baths, and range in size from 1,500 to 2,500 square feet, the release adds. Prices start in the low $200,000s.

“Brightwood at North River Ranch, part of a desirable master plan located in one of the fastest-growing communities in the Sarasota area, will offer a wide variety of resort-style amenities,” KB Home Tampa President Fred Vandercook says in a statement. “The new community is also close to Interstate 75, US-41 and US-301, providing an easy commute to downtown Sarasota and Tampa.”

The Brightwood at North River Ranch sales office and model homes are open for either private in-person tours by appointment or walk-in visits. Homebuyers can also arrange a live video tour with a sales counselor. KB Home is one of the largest homebuilders in the United States, operating in 42 markets across eight states.

North River Ranch, being developed Neal Land & Neighborhoods, is a 2,600-acre master planned community with space for some 6,000 homes, more than 700 acres of preserved wetland/conservation, lakes and parks and multiple schools. Homebuilders David Weekley Homes and Neal Communities recently opened another neighborhood in North River Ranch, Riverfield.
