Hospice foundation names new vice president

Marlo Turner brings 20 years of experience in the development field for mental health, museum, public and higher education, and community foundation organizations.

SARASOTA — Tidewell Foundation Inc. has named Marlo Turner vice president.

Prior to joining the Tidewell Foundation, Turner helped grow the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to more than $400 million in assets held in more than 1,500 donor funds, according to a press release. She was also a senior team member with Oklahoma State University Foundation, where she contributed to the University's campaign to raise $1 billion for the "Branding Success" campaign.

Turner brings with her 20 years of experience in the development field for mental health, museum, public and higher education, and community foundation organizations.

“We are thrilled to have Marlo leading our team of Philanthropy Officers," says Debbie Mason, president of Tidewell Foundation, in a statement. "Her depth of experience, knowledge of fundraising and management capabilities will complement our growing philanthropy team.”

Tidewell Foundation is a nonprofit established to ensure perpetual philanthropic support to Tidewell Hospice and the health care companies within the Stratum Health System family.
