Ryan Cos. USA Inc. has promoted Max Bosso of its Tampa office to vice president of real estate development.
Bosso’s move up — he had worked as a director of real estate development for the Minneapolis-based company with 15 offices nationwide — is among a number of high-profile hires and promotions in recent months in Tampa, despite the impact the COVID-19 health crisis has had on the industry.
“His focus on developing projects across sectors, attention to detail and vision helped bring some of our most interesting projects to reality,” Ryan Vice President and Tampa market leader JP Bacariza.
Bosso, who joined Ryan in 2016 after stints with the Village of Elwood and the City of Palm Beach Gardens, wasn’t the only Ryan executive to be bumped up, either. Tyler Lohmiller was promoted to development manager in the firm’s Tampa office.
Elsewhere, Tampa commercial real estate firm Franklin Street has hired Andy Zahn to be its CFO. Zahn has more than 20 years of experience, most recently as a top executive with World of Beer. In that role, he will oversee accounting and financial departments and help the company execute “long-term growth plans” through capital markets analysis.
Andrew Wright, Franklin Street’s founder and CEO, says in a statement that Zahn is a “great match for our company” given his experience with companies in “critical periods of growth.”
In St. Petersburg, Lincoln Property Co. has hired Thomas Grandoff to be its director of brokerage services in Tampa Bay. Grandoff has more than seven years of experience with JLL and KW Commercial.
Jon Slater, a Lincoln Property senior vice president, says Grandoff “will broaden Lincoln Property’s footprint here by bringing in new third-party landlord leasing and management.”
