SARASOTA — Home care agency Doctor’s Choice Home Care Inc. promoted Deborah Strehan Dyer and Sue Tamburin to vice president of operations roles.
Strehan Dyer will be responsible for leadership of the Broward, Miami, Sarasota and Stuart providers, which include branches in Broward, Englewood, Fort Myers, Naples, Port Charlotte, Miami, Sarasota and Stuart, according to a press release. Tamburin will oversee leadership of the Bradenton, Brooksville, Gainesville, Orlando and Palm Harbor providers, including branches in Bradenton, Brandon, Brooksville, Gainesville, Lakeland, Orlando, Sebring and Palm Harbor.
In their new roles, Strehan Dyer and Tamburin will be responsible for developing strategies to create operational efficiencies and execute on new initiatives to drive growth and improve financial and clinical performance. Additionally, they’ll be responsible for the achievement of established performance goals for compliance, quality outcomes and patient experiences, the release adds.
Strehan Dyer joined Doctor’s Choice in January 2016 as the executive director for the Fort Myers branch. She was later promoted to regional director of operations in 2018. She brings 22 years of experience in health care, nine of which consisted of various leadership roles within the home health care industry.
Tamburin has been with Doctor’s Choice for more than 10 years. She joined in November 2009 as the director of clinical services for the Bradenton branch. She has more than 22 years of nursing experience and 20 years of experience in home care. Tamburin most recently served as a regional director of operations at Doctor’s Choice for the past two years.

Sarasota-based Doctor’s Choice Home Care Inc. provides hospital-to-home transitions, recovery and the management of chronic illnesses.
Doctor’s Choice, founded in 2007, has been expanding throughout Florida, making four acquisitions from spring 2019 to spring 2020.
