BRADENTON — During the coronavirus pandemic, event wristband and pass company ID&C is shifting to enter the personal protection equipment business.
After being unable to find a reliable local PPE supplier, ID&C began bringing in stock supply of three-ply and KN95 civilian masks to its warehouse in Bradenton, according to a press release. With a production capacity of around 1 million units a week, Bradenton-based ID&C now offers bulk orders (up to 10 million units) as well as small-quantity orders (as low as 50 units).
While most staff have been furloughed, ID&C has adapted to market and customer business needs, the release says.
ID&C is helping the local community during the pandemic by donating one mask to local hospitals for every 10 masks purchased online when customers use the code "DONATION."
“Our company has been primarily based in the music and event industry, so we understand the need for safety for the masses during a pandemic like COVID-19," says General Manager Craig Bennett in the statement. "We are extremely excited to now offer PPE items for our local and extended community."
ID&C also offers custom fabric face masks online. Ear savers are available to ease the strain of daily mask wear and can be customized with a company logo. All PPE products are available online.
ID&C provides custom wristbands and passes for event security. The company works across the event and entertainment industries, from festivals and sports to conferences and theme parks. Its products include paper, vinyl, fabric, silicone and RFID wristbands as well as lanyards and event passes. ID&C holds several patents on wristband technology developed in-house. In early 2020, Avery Labels acquired ID&C.
