SARASOTA — Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria in downtown Sarasota has reopened at 25% capacity with indoor and outdoor seating.
The 2,600-square-foot restaurant has private rooms and a 750-square-foot patio for outside seating.
Happy hour has also resumed Wednesday to Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., according to a statement. It includes specially priced craft cocktails and small plates. An abbreviated Bavaro menu will be offered with Bavaro staples and newly created Italian-themed dishes. The menu was created by Executive Chef Carl Legname, a veteran of Bavaro’s who was recently transferred to oversee culinary in Sarasota.
Bavaro’s also offers contactless curbside pickup, online ordering and craft cocktails served in gallon sizes to go, the release adds.
The menu includes soups, appetizers, salads, traditional Italian entrees and desserts. The focal point of the menu is Neapolitan-style pizza pies from a wood-burning oven.
Bavaro’s is also opening conversations for future bookings of functions such as weddings, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. The company can host small and large functions in house and catered off site.
The downtown Sarasota location is at 27 Fletcher Ave. in the judicial/business district off Main Street. Bavaro’s also has locations in downtown Tampa and in St. Petersburg’s Edge District.
