Nonprofit compiles list of employers with jobs available now

SARASOTA — CareerSource Suncoast has posted a list of employers that have jobs available now on its website. 

The list can be found at: careersourcesuncoast.com/companies

CareerSource Suncoast's list includes employers such as FCCI, Enzymedica, Fifth Third Bank, HCA Healthcare, Lowe's, PepsiCo/Tropicana, Publix, Target, Walmart and more. 

CareerSource Suncoast has closed its career centers in Manatee and Sarasota counties in light of concerns posed by coronavirus. According to a press release, all in-person events, including job fairs, network meetings, training and workshops, have been postponed until further notice.

Workshops, job search and one-on-one career coaching are now available in an online virtual environment and over the phone. Job seekers and employers can call CareerSource Suncoast at 941-358-4200 to review available options.

“We’re open for business, just open differently,” says CareerSource Suncoast President and CEO Ted Ehrlichman in the statement. “It’s our commitment to the community to help flatten the curve and prevent our healthcare system from being overrun while maintaining continuity of business operations and serving our clients the best we can under these conditions.”

CareerSource Suncoast is a nonprofit dedicated to providing education and tools to connect employers with skilled talent. Its mission is to recruit, train and retain talent for employers on the Suncoast.
