ELLENTON — Whiskey Joe’s Bar & Grill has opened its location on the Manatee River in Ellenton.
The fourth location of the waterfront ‘Floribbean’-inspired restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining, boat pull-ups and fire pits, according to a press release.
It will also serve dishes such as the Mango Mahi Mahi, Grand Grouper Sandwich, Tampa Bay Shrimp Taco and Gator Bites. It will also serve cocktails such as the Tropical Bahama Mama, over 40 types of margaritas and mojitos, and a selection of local beer on tap.
"Whiskey Joe's Manatee River is excited to bring a new sense of adventure, including family fun, good food and great relaxing vibes, to the Ellenton community," says Brand Manager Martin Duffany in a statement.
Whiskey Joe’s plans to host private events, including birthday parties, corporate events and social parties.
According to a press release, Whiskey Joe’s Manatee River has created over 120 jobs. It has indoor and outdoor seating for over 450 people.
Whiskey Joe’s Bar & Grill has been open in Florida for over 35 years. Specialty Restaurants Corp. is a family-owned restaurant group founded in 1958 by World War II veteran and bomber pilot David Tallichet. It has 19 properties across Southern California; Florida; Cleveland, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; and Buffalo, N.Y.
